Whale Watching

Whale Watching

Shark Bay Dive and Marine Safaris is the newest part of the Ocean Park business and the only PADI Dive Centre in Shark Bay. We specialise in scuba diving, snorkelling and scenic wildlife tours of Steep Point and Dirk Hartog Island. We focus on small groups and personal service taking guests to some of the most remote and pristine areas in Australia. Read more.

Join us for a day on the ocean viewing spectacular Humpback Whales.  These trips are seasonal during the whale’s migration, only running between August and October.  Shark Bay has calm protected waters where the humpback whales come to calf and rest on route to their feeding grounds in Antarctica.

We’ll leave Denham and cruise out to the Eastern side of Dirk Hartog Island in search of these majestic creatures. As well as whales you may also see dolphins, dugongs, rays, sharks, turtles and a variety of other marine life.

Snacks and drinks will be provided. This is a half day tour with departure times confirmed on the day based on the weather.

All tours are subject to weather conditions and minimum numbers of four.

Please Note: We cannot guarantee the sightings of humpback whales or any other wildlife.  Nature is unpredictable.  We will however guarantee that we will do everything in our power to find marine wildlife and give you a great day out. There will be no refund for the absence of whales or marine wildlife.
